Valley Wood Waterwise Gardens

Valley Wood Fall Tour

The Biggest Little Bee City is thrilled to invite you to a public tour of the magnificent Valley Wood Waterwise Gardens (Fall Edition!) As a community dedicated to sustainable living and environmental stewardship, we are delighted to showcase our innovative garden project and share our passion for water conservation with you.

Native, Drought-Tolerant and Pollinator-Friendly

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to explore our eight themed gardens, which have been carefully cultivated to thrive in a water-wise environment. Curator Tom Stille will guide you through the various sections, explaining the principles of water-wise landscaping, plant selection, and efficient irrigation systems.

You will discover an array of stunning native and drought-tolerant plant species, arranged in semi-wild landscapes while minimizing water usage. Learn how our garden design incorporates mulching, rainwater conservation, and other sustainable practices to conserve this precious resource.

Please join us for this exciting opportunity to explore the Valley Wood Waterwise Gardens and gain inspiration for sustainable living. Feel free to bring your family, friends, and anyone else who may be interested in learning about water conservation and natural landscape design.

Free Seeds!

In this Fall Edition of our Valley Wood tour, many of our native and drought-tolerant plant species have produced an abundance of seeds, and we encourage our guests to collect and take home for their own special native and drought-tolerant gardens.  Be sure to bring some baggies or containers for your seeds.
